Refund Policy

**Please note, customers must notify us of any damage within 7 days of receiving the item to receive a replacement or refund. Customers have 15 days to return the media for a replacement or refund. Exchanges and refunds will not be processed past 7 days of receiving the damaged item.**

Damage Policy

Here are the most common types of damages and our general process for handling them. Most common issues Issues affecting sound quality or playback including:

  • Scratches or scuffs that cause your needle to skip
  • Excessive noise, whooshes, or pops
  • Significant warpage
  • Locked grooves that prevent the needle from advancing beyond a certain point
  • Cracked Vinyl or broken cassettes

Some of these things are normal and are not considered to be damaged. If you are ever unsure, please email us at info@atabales.com and we will help determine what is normal and what is not.

How we approach replacements

Most of our listed items are “In Print”, which means they are available through the label to issue a replacement if they have more in stock. Unfortunately, sometimes we are unable to replace everything as some items do go out of print or are simply no longer available to us.

How to request a replacement

If you receive something that is damaged and would like to request a replacement, please follow the instructions included in the shipping box with your items.Didn’t receive return/exchange instructions in the shipping box?  Please email info@atabales.com and we will assist you in your return.

Media Return Policy

If you purchased any media by mistake (media being records, cassettes, cd’s, movies, video games), you may return the item to us if you notify us within 7 days of receiving it, and send it back to us (unopened and in its original packaging) within 15 days of receiving it. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on any open media. While we hope you enjoy the items you purchase, when it comes to the factory seal and/or wrapping, as they say – you break it, you buy it.

Merchandise Return & Exchange Policy

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on merchandise that has been personally worn, used, washed or augmented. If an item of merchandise is defective or does not fit on arrival, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item and make sure to send it back to us within 15 days or we will be unable to accept it.
